Dan the man

I am not good with money, that’s why I don’t have any. A joke? Perhaps, but the reality is I suck at budgeting my approach is save all you can. Easy enough if you’re making good money I never did so I needed all my money to pay not just the house bills, but the child support which at the time was nearly half my paycheck which is why I worked two jobs and side jobs. I didn’t have a lot of stuff in my house and that’s how I liked it because I was living alone and working so much why buy stuff I didn’t really need. I am still a minimalist only today I’m in a house full of “stuff” that according to my wife I need… who knew?? I can’t complain though because my wife is a financial genius compared to me she truly is, she has made us more money in the nine years we’ve been together than I made in the fifteen years I was single. Luckily I am older and wiser than my younger self and I am very content with what we have and where we are, but I still save all the money I make mostly because old habits die hard. I would say I use money much differently now than in my youth and I also have more, thanks to my wife.
